Rebecca Scheffler is a freshman Graphic Design major from Springfield, Massachusetts joining Community Engagement’s Marketing team this year. As a team assistant she looks forward to expanding her marketing skills by promoting local businesses and people in the Bristol community. Rebecca originally joined the farmhouse team because she was eager to become more involved in the wider community.

Entering Roger Williams University, she looks forward to meeting new people, having opportunities to try new things, and to grow as a person. Not only that, but she believes community engagement will help people formulate stronger connections with those on and off campus. She especially looks forward to building relationships with the people that make up our community.
When asked about her hobbies, Rebecca shared that she’s a dancer. She even danced in a Disney World parade with her dance studio! Rebecca also enjoys painting and drawing in her free time. The music she enjoys (and probably dances to!) is nearly everything, especially pop music. Her favorite music artists are Lizzy Mcalpine and Gracie Abrams. Her cat Luna keeps her company as she indulges in her television shows: Jane the Virgin, The Good Place, and the Umbrella Academy. Rebecca hopes to travel to New Zealand and Italy one day. Until then, she enjoys taking annual trips to Star Island off the coast of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
