Andre Caceres is a third year marketing major with a triple minor in communications, media studies and sports management from Ossining, New York. For the past three years he has been taking part in the Roger Williams men's soccer team. This spring semester will be his first semester as a marketing team assistant for Community Engagement.
When asked what community engagement means to him, Andre stated, “Community
engagement means making a difference. Students are able to get the experience in real world projects while also completing projects that will benefit the local communities within Rhode Island and Massachusetts.”
Outside of work Andre loves to play sports of any kind, his favorites are snowboarding, surfing,
soccer, and basketball. As well as sport taste Andre has a wide variety of music genres that he
listens to. Some of Andres' go-tos are Pop, Rap, Country and Indie. Another passion of Andre’s
is traveling. Andre lived in Chile for a year with his family and states that school in another
country was one of the best parts. He stated he was very fortunate to spend quality time with his
family for that long and work on speaking spanish.
